Mariam, a shepherdess, who suffers through cruelty inflicted by society, meets Yeshua, a King from another kingdom. Her distrust of men stems from their callous treatment of her. After being sold into slavery and attacked by an undershepherd, she is left for dead. Yeshua rescues her and His kindness towards her softens her bitter and hardened heart. His act shows her that there are loving people in the world. Mariam falls in love with him, but then finds out that He is no ordinary man.
